Why Do I Need an Appointment, Can't I just come and look at what you have?  

​Your experience will be much better for you with an appointment.  Often, we offer premium appointments that will allow customers and their guests to have the entire boutique to themselves.  Our services are very specialized and we like to give our clients our full attention.  

We do have walk-in hours where clients may drop in for things like measurements and to shop for accessories, but to be able to try on dresses, appointments are strongly encouraged.


What sizes do you carry?

Our in stock sample collection ranges from a size 2 to a size 24.  However, because we specialize in made to order services, you can order your dress in ANY SIZE and ANY COLOR.  Furthermore, for customers local to the boutique, fitting and alterations are included in the price of the dress so you won't incur additional alteration charges.  


How Much Do Your Dresses cost?

We have a variety of dresses to fit every budget.  Keep in mind that all of our styles are unique to Greta Kay and many store samples are one of a kind couture pieces.  

For couture design services things like fabric, beading, and difficulty of the design all drive the cost of a gown.  However, many of our clients are pleasantly surprised at how affordable couture design can be.  Greta Kay will work with brides of every budget and help them design a look that fits both their style and price point.   Because couture pieces are made to the customer's measurements, there are no additional alteration charges as fit is included in the design process. 


Do You Do Alterations?
We fine tune the fit of all Greta Kay garments that are custom made to order at no charge.  For samples dresses which are standard sizing that are purchased directly from the in stock collection, alteration charges will apply, however, we usually discount in stock dresses slightly to offset that cost a little.

We do not do alterations on dresses and gowns purchased elsewhere, however we do have a referral service for qualified formal wear alteration specialists.  


Can You Restyle A Dress?

Yes!  Greta Kay loves to take existing dresses and remake them or redesign their look.  This service helps brides that may have been given a dress, purchased a vintage style, or inherited a dress that they want to add their unique spin to.  


What If I don't like my dress once it's made?

This is a fair question when you are ordering a true couture, one of a kind piece.  There are no refunds or cancellations per our custom garment contract.  Greta Kay works extensively with her clients to be certain of style and fabric choice prior to the dress commission.  Clients will try on dresses from the existing collection to get a feel for their desired silhouette, fabrics, and over all look.  During the process, clients will have fittings to assure the perfect sizing and the client and designer  may do some editing along the way to fine tune the overall look.   Greta Kay will interview clients carefully and answer all questions and concerns on an individual basis.  The relationship between the designer and client is an important one of trusting the process, however because her name is on the label, Greta Kay takes great pride in her designs and works to assure her clients are 100% in love with their couture fashion.

Do You Have Payment Plans?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as well as cash and checks for payment.  Checks will not be accepted at final pick up unless pre-approved with the boutique.


Depending on the price of the gown, we offer some payment options both for dress deposits and purchases.  Normally dresses over $200 can be ordered with a 50% deposit.  Once the garment is completed, the balance may then be extended to 90 days same as cash.   


You may also apply for PayPal Credit via www.paypal.com to finance the full purchase price of your couture garment. 


 All garments must be paid in full before they leave the boutique.
